Praveen Sukumaran

Praveen Sukumaran has experience working as a Principal Surveyor at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) since 2007. In this role, they are responsible for conducting surveys of conventional and non-conventional ships and offshore rigs, as well as performing ISM, ISPS, and MLC audits. Additionally, they serve as the Project Manager for new construction projects at Keppel FELS. Prior to joining ABS, Praveen Sukumaran worked as a Chief Engineer at Pacific International Lines (PTE) Ltd from 1996 to 2007.

Praveen Sukumaran holds a Master's Degree in Master of Science from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to this, they achieved an Advanced Diploma in Marine Engineering, specializing in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, from Singapore Polytechnic in the years 2001 to 2002. Praveen also completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum, studying from 1991 to 1995.
