Alison McPhee

Alison McPhee has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Alison currently holds the position of Principal Risk Officer at Absa Group, starting in November 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Absa Capital as a Market and Valuation Risk specialist from August 2018 until November 2021. Before joining Absa Capital, Alison held various positions at Investec, including Head of Interest Rate Derivatives Trading from June 2012 to July 2018, and FX Options Trader from May 2007 to June 2012. Alison'scareer started at Amb Capital as a Proprietary Trader from January 2001 to March 2007. Alison's earliest known role was as an Emerging Markets Trader at SBC Warburg, where they worked from an unknown start date until 1999.

Alison McPhee completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and Law from the University of the Witwatersrand from 1988 to 1990. Alison also obtained a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) qualification in Finance from AIMR from 1998 to 2000.
