Beauty Mtonga

Beauty Mtonga currently serves as the Head of People Premises and Supplier Risk at Absa Group since January 2022 and has held the position of Chief Risk Officer for Human Resources at Absa Group Limited since February 2017. Previously, Beauty Mtonga was the Regional Head of Risk for the Rest of Africa, focusing on operational risk management for Barclays Africa Group Limited, overseeing activities in twelve countries outside of South Africa and managing engagements with the Africa Regional Office. Beauty Mtonga's academic credentials include a Master's degree and a Diploma in Law (Paralegal), along with certifications in management studies, business administration, management and operations, and legal, complemented by an associate membership with the Institute of Risk Management South Africa.
