Chanetsa Mukahanana

Chanetsa Mukahanana is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as the Design Standards and Measurement Manager at Absa Group since February 2021, Chanetsa focuses on establishing a cross-functional Design Standards Team and aligning design systems across multiple platforms. Previously, as Design System Lead at Standard Bank Group, Chanetsa was instrumental in creating the organization’s first enterprise design system, facilitating adoption across numerous teams. Additional positions held include UI Design Lead and Design Lead at Standard Bank Group and Freethinking Business Consultants, respectively, along with key roles at Gloo Digital Design, Agent Orange Design, and early career experiences as a designer and co-owner at Design@7 Visual Works, and a web designer at AfricaOnline. Chanetsa holds educational credentials from Harare Polytechnic College and Kutama College.
