Chris Lourens

Chris Lourens has over a decade of experience in architecture and integration management, currently serving as Lead Architect for CIBWM at Absa since October 2012. Prior roles include Architecture Portfolio Manager for CIBWM at Barclays from December 2010 to November 2012 and Lead Infrastructure Designer for Africa, where responsibilities included technical infrastructure designs and resource management. Chris also worked as Integration Solutions Manager at Barclays from April 2007 to April 2010, overseeing technical project integration and deployment. Earlier experience includes serving as Intellectual Capital Manager at Smartsource from 2005 to 2007, managing training resources. Chris holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) from the University of Tswane and a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Pretoria, along with a Higher Education Diploma from Teachers Training College in Pretoria.
