Dawn Mthombeni

Dawn Mthombeni is a seasoned executive in the banking and financial services sector, currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer for Engineering Services at Absa Group. Previously, Dawn held several senior positions at Barclays Africa Group Limited, including COO of Corporate and Investment Banking for Africa and COO of Enterprise and Supply Chain Development. Additionally, Dawn served as Director and Head of CIB Operations Shared Services at Standard Bank, alongside roles in Global Client Services and GTB Client Care. Dawn began the career at FNB as Head of the Customer Contact Centre. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Management Program from IMD and a Master's degree in Development Finance from Stellenbosch University.
