Gabriella Teixeira

Gabriella Teixeira is an experienced professional in the banking sector, currently serving as Managing Principal of PanAfrica Payments Transactional Banking at Absa Group since March 2015, where responsibilities include leading initiatives to support sales, revenue, client experience, and risk mitigation. In a previous role as Head of Panafrica Payments and Regulatory Centre of Excellence at Absa, Teixeira oversaw a team of 700 and ensured compliance with regulatory frameworks. Prior to Absa, Teixeira held the position of Head of Global Markets Operations at Standard Bank Group, managing operations across South Africa and 17 African countries.
