Gedeon Rossouw has extensive work experience in client care and complaints management. Gedeon worked at Absa Group from 2019 to the present, initially as the Head of Client Care and later as the Head of Client Care (Principal/Director). Gedeon'sresponsibilities included establishing the Client Care function, implementing strategic frameworks, conducting research and presenting insights, managing cross-functional projects, and leading CX teams across multiple countries. Gedeon successfully scaled the function across Africa, the UK, and the US, achieving significant growth in client experience and complaints metrics. Prior to that, they worked as a Client Innovation Specialist at Barclays Africa Group Limited from 2016 to 2019 and as a Business Manager at Barclays Investment Bank from 2015 to 2016. Gedeon also interned as an Industrial Psychologist at Barclays Africa Group Limited in 2014, focusing on assessments, recruitment, and leadership development. Before that, they were a Student Psychologist at the University of Stellenbosch from 2012 to 2013.
Gedeon Rossouw completed their Executive MBA at the Graduate School of Business - University of Cape Town from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Industrial Psychology from Stellenbosch University between 2011 and 2013. Gedeon also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Pretoria, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their degrees, Gedeon has obtained certifications such as CCXP from the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) and Industrial Psychologist from the HPCSA in 2015.
