Iva Ivanovska Holder has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Iva began their career in 2005 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School, where they worked until 2009. Following that, they worked as a Market Research Analyst at Decision Resources from 2009 to 2013. In 2013, Iva joined Genzyme, a Sanofi company, and held positions as a Scientific Communications and Education Manager for Rare Diseases from 2013 to 2015, and later as an Associate Director for Medical Communications and Education in Rare Diseases from 2015 to 2017. Iva then moved to bluebird bio, where they worked as a Director for Scientific Communications and Education ALD from 2017 to 2019, and as a Senior Director and Head of Scientific Communications and Education from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Iva is working at Dyne Therapeutics as the Senior Director and Global Head of Scientific and Medical Communications since 2021.
Iva Ivanovska Holder pursued their education from 1994 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Smith College. Following this, they enrolled at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1998 and completed their studies in 2005, earning a Ph.D. in Biochemistry Cell and Molecular Biology.
