Rakesh Bhoola

Rakesh Bhoola has extensive experience in technology and project management, spanning over two decades. Rakesh is currently working as the Lead Technology Partner at Absa Group, where they have successfully led the migration of the Card Acquiring program, managed relationships with stakeholders, and ensured timely resolution of project issues. Prior to their current role, Rakesh served as a Project Delivery Manager at BCX, where they oversaw the migration of integration applications and ensured project deliverables were met. Rakesh also worked as a Middleware Consultant at Thusunani Consulting, where they provided technical advisory and project delivery for various middleware technologies. Rakesh has also worked in notable roles at Barclays Africa Group Limited, Absa Bank, Highveld PFS, Absa, and Vodacom, where they gained expertise in solutions architecture, connectivity/infrastructure, and websphere technologies.

Rakesh Bhoola completed the Programme for Management Development at GIBS Business School in 2017. Prior to that, they attended Raisethorpe High School from 1985 to 1991.
