Shenika Ramsamy

Shenika Ramsamy is an experienced professional in equity derivatives and engineering, currently serving as Assistant Vice President in Junior Equity Derivative Sales at Absa Group since March 2021. In this role, Shenika focuses on structuring bespoke solutions for corporates and high net worth individuals on the Corporate Client Solutions Desk. Prior experience includes a graduate analyst position in Corporate and Investment Banking, specializing in sales and structuring of various financial products. Shenika has completed a Graduate Engineering Trainee program at Engen, where recognition was received as one of the top participants. Educational background includes a BSc Honours in Chemical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Additional experience includes laboratory research and internships in the sugar production industry, providing a diverse skill set in both financial and engineering domains.
