Subash Sharma

Subash Sharma is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and management within the technology and financial sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Digital and Head of Mobile Banking at Absa Group since November 2015, Subash oversees mobile banking services. Previously, Subash held various senior roles at Absa, including COO for Africa Technology and COO for Enterprise Shared Services, managing substantial budgets and portfolios related to project execution, finance, risk, and human resources. Additional experience includes serving as a Lead Consultant at Deloitte and Project Manager at AR Process Projects, with a strong background in the aerospace and nuclear industries at Denel Optronics and ASC. Subash holds advanced degrees in FinTech, Business, and Mechanical Engineering from prestigious institutions, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
