Ben Golomb

Ben Golomb, PhD, CA-AM, currently serves as Sr. Manager of Alliance Management & Growth Strategy at Absci since June 2021, having previously held roles as Manager and Scientist II Team Lead in the same division. Prior to Absci, Ben Golomb worked at Novozymes from April 2018 to May 2021 as Scientist I in Strain Engineering, and at Bayer Crop Science from February 2016 to April 2018 as a Postdoctoral researcher, focusing on novel biological crop protection solutions. Earlier experience includes Associate Scientist at Bayer Crop Science and Junior Specialist at UC Davis, where research revolved around microbial genetics and the spoilage agents in fermented foods respectively. Ben Golomb started a career in research as an intern at Monsanto Company and as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at UC Davis. Ben Golomb holds a Ph.D. in Food Science with a concentration in Microbiology and Biotechnology from the University of California, Davis, and a B.S. in Biotechnology from the same institution.
