Christine Lemke

Christine Lemke is an experienced executive in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as SVP of Portfolio & Growth Strategy at Absci since February 2023. Previously, Lemke was the Head of Global Corporate Development at Ferring International Center SA from January 2020 to January 2023, and held the position of Entrepreneur In Residence at Takeda in 2019. At Shire, Lemke was Head of R&D Strategy and Planning from July 2018 to January 2019. With a long tenure at Bayer from 2008 to 2018, Lemke held various roles, including VP of Strategy for Pharmaceuticals and Head of Strategy for Bayer HealthCare. Early career highlights include serving as VP of Business Development at MediGene AG and CEO of Cilian AG. Lemke holds an MBA from the University of Colorado, a Dr. med. vet. from Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover, and a DVM from Freie Universität Berlin.
