Zachariah Jonasson

Zach Jonasson currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer at Absci since August 2023. Previously, Zach was Managing General Partner and Co-Founder at Convergent Ventures from February 2021 to August 2023, where efforts included co-leading fundraising for the first fund and establishing investment partnerships with L'Oreal. Zach also co-founded Phoenix Venture Partners, leading fundraising for four funds and creating partnerships with corporations such as Pfizer and 3M from 2010 to August 2023. Early experience includes serving as General Partner and Kauffman Fellow at Seaflower Ventures, research positions in the Harvard Business School and Harvard University, and a role as Research Associate at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Academic credentials include a PhD in Cognition, Brain & Behavior from Harvard and a BS from Georgetown University.
