John Villarreal

John Villarreal is an experienced audio professional with a diverse background in live event production and audio engineering. Currently serving as a Low Voltage Technician at Alert Protective Services LLC since May 2021, John has also been an Audio/Visual Shop Technician at Absolute Production Services since March 2019, where responsibilities include preparing gear for live events and ensuring client satisfaction. As a Resident DJ and Crew member at Operation Glow, John has performed at over 90 shows nationwide, primarily on college campuses. Freelance work as an Audio Engineer and Producer has been ongoing since August 2015, complemented by roles at various companies, including Sound Investment AV and AEMMP Record Label. Academic pursuits include a degree in Audio Design and Production, focusing on Music Business at Columbia College Chicago, alongside prior education at the Institute of Production and Recording.
