Gabriela Pirez

Gabriela Pirez is a professional with diverse experience in testing and research within the fields of information technology and chemical engineering. Currently serving as a Junior Advanced Tester at Abstracta since June 2021, Gabriela has also held roles as a Junior Functional Tester and Functional Testing Apprentice. Prior to this, Gabriela worked as a research assistant at the Área de energías renovables - Físicoquímica, UdelaR, contributing to the project on hydrothermal carbonization of municipal organic waste. Gabriela's earlier research experience includes assisting in projects related to forest waste processing for energy, bioethanol, and biomaterials at the Facultad de Ingeniería UdelaR, as well as working as an intern at the Intendencia Municipal Montevideo in food regulation services. Gabriela is pursuing a licentiate degree in Information Technology at UTEC and holds a Software Tester certification from CES, alongside a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de la República.
