Chris Grier

Chris Grier has extensive work experience in the legal field. Chris began their career as a paralegal and articled clerk at RUSSELLS, lawyers before becoming a lawyer specializing in commercial litigation and insolvency. Chris then worked as a lawyer at Ashurst, where they focused on international trade, trade finance, shipping, and aviation. Later, Grier joined Norton Rose Fulbright as an associate, specializing in asset and project finance. Chris then joined Aurizon as a legal counsel, where they provided legal support to various corporate functions. Grier later returned to Ashurst as a senior associate, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and major projects. More recently, they worked at Abt Associates as the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, responsible for the legal support of international development and corporate governance. Chris also served as the Vice President, Legal and Risk, overseeing various legal and risk functions for the Abt Australia and Abt Britain businesses.
