Axel Jacobs

Axel Jacobs is a seasoned professional in the wind energy sector with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Director at Windbase since May 2019, Axel leads initiatives in a company that evolved from the renowned Dutch engineering firm ABT, celebrated for its optimized foundation designs for wind energy projects. As a Civil Consultant for Wind Energy at ABT bv since February 1995, Axel integrates expertise in structural and geotechnical design with specialized knowledge in wind energy. Additionally, during tenure as a Structural Engineer at Grabowsky&Poort BV from July 1989 to February 1995, involvement in major infrastructural projects, including the Piet Hein tunnel and Shell's petrochemical plant in Rotterdam, demonstrates Axel's comprehensive engineering skill set.
