Anand Patel

Anand Patel is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Abterra Biosciences, Digital Proteomics, and Breakthrough Genetics, LLC. Prior to that, Anand worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, San Diego, specializing in genomic analysis using advanced sequencing technologies. Anand also has experience as a research intern at CalIT2 and as a Visualization Assistant IV at Scripps Institute of Oceanography. With a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology and a B.S. in Computer Science and Bioinformatics from UC San Diego, Anand has a strong academic background in the field. Additionally, Anand has experience in parts management at Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA.
