Stefano Bonissone

Stefano Bonissone is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Abterra Biosciences. Prior to this role, Stefano worked as a Graduate Student at University of California, San Diego where Stefano completed their PhD in Bioinformatics & Systems Biology. Stefano also has experience as a Contract Employee at General Electric Global Research Center and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Stefano holds a BS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MS in Computer Science as well as a PhD in Bioinformatics from UC San Diego.
