Tara R.

Tara R. serves as the Vice President of Equity Capability at Abt Associates, overseeing the integration of equity into global strategies across various markets and capabilities since August 2018. Previously, as Principal Associate of Global Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, Tara provided strategic thought leadership to implement equity-focused tools and trainings. In earlier roles, technical assistance was provided to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Veterans Affairs, focusing on creating equitable systems in homeless care. Tara has extensive experience in housing and homeless services, managing large budgets at Mental Health America and leading recovery-oriented outreach programs. Additional expertise includes program management and development in adolescent medicine and mental health.
