Oriana Penalver

Oriana Penalver has extensive experience in the hospitality and event management industry. Oriana is currently the Director of Housing Operations at ABTS Convention Services, a role they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Global Client Relations Manager at ABTS Convention Services from 2016 to 2017, where they provided housing assistance for international delegations and sponsors attending medical meetings in the United States. Oriana also worked as an Event Manager at Logistical Outsourcing Inc from 2015 to 2016, where they were responsible for managing all aspects of customer events and coordinating with third-party vendors. Before that, they held positions as a Catering Sales Manager at InterContinental at Doral in 2014, and as a Catering & Sales Manager at Hilton Miami Downtown from 2011 to 2014. Oriana began their career as a Catering Coordinator at Conrad Miami from 2010 to 2011, where they generated revenue for groups and meetings through prompt customer service and effective communication.

Oriana Penalver obtained their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Miami Dade College between 2005 and 2008. In 2008 and 2009, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management at Florida International University. Later, in 2013, they completed a Human Resources Management Certificate from the University of Miami.
