Mohamed Majed Alali

Mohamed Majed AlAli has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and security. Mohamed Majed began their career as a Network Support Engineer at General Industry Corporation, where they were responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting network environments and providing PC support. Mohamed Majed then joined International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) as a Manager of Information Technology. In this role, they implemented and managed information security and business continuity management systems, as well as aligned with international standards. Most recently, they have been working at Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), first as an Associate Director of Information Security and currently as the acting Director of Information Security & Enterprise Risk Management. In this position, they focus on building a robust and effective Information Security Organisation and Enterprise Risk Management, ensuring the adoption of standards and best practices.

Mohamed Majed AlAli holds a Master's degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Cyber Security, which was earned from Zayed University between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Communication and Media Studies from the Higher Colleges of Technology, completing it from 1997 to 2009. In addition to their academic achievements, they have also completed the Accelerated Development Programme from the London Business School in 2019 and the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme from the University of Oxford in 2022.
