Jock Forrester

Jock Forrester is an accomplished information security professional with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Currently serving as Head of Information Security at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority since July 2016, Forrester has held various roles within the organization, including Manager of Security Strategy, Architecture and Execution, and Technical Expert in Security Strategy and Execution. Prior to ADIA, Forrester spent nearly a decade at Standard Bank Group, where responsibilities included leading IT cyber-security initiatives, managing penetration testing, and overseeing the IT Security programme for digital banking. Forrester began a career in information security at Rhodes University, culminating in a Master’s Degree in Information Security and a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems and Management, both from Rhodes University.
