Marcus Ekdahl is a seasoned professional in quantitative research and development with a wealth of experience across various financial institutions. Currently serving as the Quantitative Research & Development Lead at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority since February 2024, Marcus has previously held significant roles including Partner at CloudStrat Inc., where innovative cloud-based trading strategies were developed, and Founder of Fourth Moment Technologies, which focused on advanced trading algorithms for partners such as hedge funds and asset managers. Prior tenure includes leadership as Head of Commodities at ATP, Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager at ATP Alpha Fondsmæglerselskab A/S, and Portfolio Manager at ATP, alongside earlier experiences as an Equity Research Analyst at Morgan Stanley and an officer in the Swedish Armed Forces.
