Schyok Zafar

Schyok Zafar currently serves as Financial Controller at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) since December 2016, having previously held the position of Senior Financial Accountant. Prior to ADIA, Schyok Zafar worked at Ashmore from January 2015 to November 2016 as Overseas Financial Controller, overseeing financial reporting for overseas subsidiaries and ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK regulatory requirements. Earlier experience includes serving as a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers from July 2014 to December 2014 and as Senior Associate in PwC UK's tax team and assurance arm from April 2009 to June 2014, where contributions included advising on venture capital tax reliefs and reporting for various sectors. Schyok Zafar holds a Professional Qualification in Accounting from ICAEW (2009-2012) and a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick (2005-2008).
