Ahsan Akhtar

Ahsan Akhtar, FCA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in senior financial roles. Currently serving as Acting Group Chief Financial Officer and previously as Group Financial Controller at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank since April 2008, Ahsan has demonstrated expertise in financial leadership. Prior experience includes the position of Group Chief Financial Officer at Citi from September 1998 to April 2008, and Manager Audit at A. F. Ferguson & Co. from February 1995 to September 1998. Ahsan began the career at PwC as an Audit Senior from September 1991 to January 1995. Ahsan holds a Chartered Accountant qualification from ICAEW and a BSc (Hons) in Economics - Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science. Early education was completed at Karachi Grammar School.
