Shamsu Jiwani has extensive work experience in the banking industry, with a focus on audit operations and technology. Shamsu worked at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, where they held various roles including Head of Audit Operations & Technology and Head of Operations Audit. In these positions, they managed audit functions, developed audit plans, supervised audits, and issued audit reports. Shamsu also advised on control improvements and regulatory compliance. Prior to ADIB, Shamsu worked at Mashreq Bank as an AVP & Senior IT Auditor, where they conducted IT and IS audits. Shamsu also served as AVP & Head of IT Audit at Development Credit Bank Limited, leading the IT Audit team and overseeing operations audits. Shamsu's expertise includes risk assessment, audit methodology, and managing stakeholder relationships.

Shamsu Jiwani has a diverse education history in the field of auditing, risk management, and information systems. In terms of certifications, Shamsu obtained the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in November 2022.
