Yousef Abbas

Yousef Abbas is a seasoned sustainability professional currently serving as a Senior Sustainability Specialist at AD Ports Group since August 2021, following a brief tenure as a Senior Associate Advisory at PwC. In this role, Yousef gained insights into various businesses and projects through the Abu Dhabi Public Exchange Program, focusing on ESG initiatives and business development related to sustainability. Prior experiences include positions with the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, where Yousef held dual roles as Chairman of the Youth Council and Senior Specialist in Environmental Assessment & Permitting, as well as working with the Department of Municipalities and Transport on the Estidama Program. Yousef began the professional journey with internships at Shams Power Company. Academically, Yousef holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Sustainable Energy from The University of Edinburgh and a Master of Science in Project and Enterprise Management from UCL.
