Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) Plc, a licensed electricity distribution company commenced operations as a full-fledged privately owned electricity distribution company to carry on business of electricity distribution in the Federal Capital Territory, Niger State, Kogi State and Nasarawa State on 1st November, 2013 following the successful privatization of the distribution and generation sectors of the then Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN). Since Transfer of ownership, AEDC Plc management has embarked on a series of restructuring to bring the new distribution company in line with our vision and mission statement of making customers happy 24/7 in our franchise area.
