Irene Nwankwo

Irene Nwankwo is currently serving as the Chief Internal Auditor at Abuja Electricity Distribution Company Plc. Previously, Irene held the position of Head of Internal Audit and Compliance at Transcorp Hotels Plc and worked as a Senior Associate (IARCS) at KPMG Nigeria. Irene is also a Board Member at the Institute of Internal Auditors - Nigeria. Irene holds a Bachelor's Degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University and is certified in Corporate Governance Best Practices from the Institute for International Research (IIR). Irene's role involves overseeing internal audit processes, developing risk management strategies, and implementing controls to safeguard company assets and reputation.
