Emmet Tydings has extensive work experience across various industries and organizations. Emmet currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Abundant IoT, where they provide strategic direction and oversees the company's operations. Prior to this role, Emmet was President at Technology Solutions Exchange [TSX Group].

Emmet also has a long-standing career at AB&T Telecom, where they currently hold the position of President. Emmet is responsible for providing small, medium, and large enterprises with telecommunications and cloud solutions. Emmet has been with AB&T Telecom since 1981 and has played a significant role in developing the company's offerings and partnerships.

In addition to their professional and community involvement, Emmet is a member of Vistage International, a paid membership organization that facilitates the professional growth of company leaders. Emmet was a member from 2010 to 2018.

Emmet has further contributed to regional planning initiatives as a member of the Long Range Planning Task Force at TPB-Metro Washington Council of Governments. The task force is responsible for identifying projects, programs, or policies to alleviate congestion in the Greater Washington Metropolitan Region.

In their past roles, Emmet also served as a Transportation Committee member at the Greater Olney Civic Association (GOCA) and held a board position at the Howard County Technology Council (HTC), where they were the Chairman from 2012 to 2015.

Emmet Tydings received their High School Diploma from Sandy Spring Friends School in 1975. Emmet then went on to attend High Point University from 1976 to 1977, where they studied Art. In 1978, Tydings enrolled at Salisbury University and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing in 1981.
