Joseph Barthelt is the Director of Technology at Abundant Venture Partners, where they oversee the development and maintenance of the Life XT mobile application via an onshore/offshore development vendor. Joseph also assists with new business pitches, RFP and RFI processes, client technical assessments and technology audits & research. In addition, Barthelt defines and oversees the IT infrastructure and technical support team for multiple Abundant Venture Partner (AVP) portfolio agencies, including AVP, The Abundancy (former), Ardent IO (former), Avia Health Innovations, Cardinal Path (former), Education Funding Partners, Life-XT and Transparent Media Partners. Their responsibilities include internet & wireless network configuration, Avaya phones & conference bridge system, corporate email, conference room audio-visual equipment, vendor & account management, and computer repair & support. Barthelt is responsible for defining the practice and long-term vision of all aspects of agency technology policy, and application development & IT support processes. Their responsibilities have included documentation and process definition around asset inventory for hardware, software and licenses, best practices documentation for development and web security, web browser testing & developer unit testing policies, corporate standards for data security (AVPN & The Abundancy), and company equipment and data policies.
