Laurens Aerts

Laurens Aerts has a diverse work experience. Currently, they are the Business Unit Director Flanders at BELGATECH by Abylsen. Prior to this, they held various roles at Abylsen, including Business Unit Director Abylsen The Netherlands, Area Manager, Manager Coach, Business Manager, and Business Developer. Laurens also worked as a Host at Prime Impressions Hostess Agency Hasselt, Ski teacher and travel guide Snowblend at GlobEvents, and Sales and Marketing Assistant at Schoenen Kellens. Laurens gained further experience through internships at Under Armour and the Royal Belgian Football Association. Additionally, they worked on a sport business project at ESSMA - European Stadium and Safety Management Association.

Laurens Aerts completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Engineering (Handelsingenieur) at KU Leuven from 2007 to 2011. Laurens then pursued a Master of Science degree in Business Engineering (Handelsingenieur) at KU Leuven from 2011 to 2013. In 2012-2013, Laurens participated in the Erasmus program at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where they studied Business Administration / Bedrijfskunde / Business Management / Bedrijfsmanagement. Additionally, they obtained a Postgraduate degree in Sports Management from Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 2013 to 2014.
