Daniel Giroux

Daniel Giroux has extensive work experience in the biotech and biosciences industry. Daniel is currently working as the Vice President of Development at Abzena since December 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Manufacturing at Candel Therapeutics from August 2016 to October 2019.

Before joining Candel Therapeutics, Daniel was the Vice-President of Research and Development at PBS Biotech, Inc. from 2009 to July 2016. Daniel also served as the owner of Ventana Biosciences from 2006 to 2009.

Daniel's earlier roles include working as an Associate Principal Scientist at Canji, Inc. (1994-2005), a Manufacturing Associate at Cytel (1992-1994), and an Associate Scientist at Unisyn Fibertech (1990-1992).

Daniel Giroux attended the University of Ottawa from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry.
