Nicole Wakes

Nicole Wakes has extensive work experience in the scientific field, with a focus on drug discovery and research. Nicole started their career at GSK in 1996 as a Principal Scientist, where they worked for 15 years before joining Argenta Discovery in 2011 as a Research Scientist. After two years, they transitioned to Abzena in 2013, where they are currently serving as VP Scientific Operations. Additionally, Nicole pursued their PhD at University College London from 2002 to 2006.

Nicole Wakes pursued their undergraduate education at Ulster University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Biochemical Sciences from 1991 to 1995. Later, they joined UCL and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Metabolism Research from 2002 to 2006.
