Jorge Lencastre

Jorge Lencastre has extensive work experience in risk management, ethics & compliance, and legal roles. Jorge is currently working as the Director of Risk, Controls, Ethics & Compliance, Audit, and DPO at CPFL Energia since February 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Legal Director of Ethics & Compliance Americas at Nike from July 2016 to January 2021. Jorge also worked at Eaton from 2010 to 2016, where they held the positions of Latin America Ethics and Compliance Manager and Senior Legal Manager for South America. Before that, they worked as the Legal & Compliance Manager at Tropical Bioenergia SA from 2009 to 2010 and as a Senior Attorney at Eaton Corp. from 2002 to 2009.

Jorge Lencastre studied law at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained their degree in 2001. Jorge specialized in Tax Law at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo in 2001. Additionally, in the same year, they pursued an MBA in General Business Administration at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
