Phylicia Unabia

Phylicia Unabia is an experienced professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Associate Director of Proposals at Abzena since February 2014. Phylicia leads and manages proposal development, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements while coordinating team contributions and communicating with senior management. Previous roles at Abzena include Principal Proposal Manager and Senior Proposal Manager, where Phylicia acted as a Subject Matter Expert and focused on proposal generation, training new employees, and enhancing proposal templates. Earlier career experiences include positions at PacificGMP, where Phylicia worked as a Production Associate and Laboratory Technician, performing both non-GMP and cGMP projects. Phylicia holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science Public Health from San Diego State University.
