Laurie Smith

Laurie Smith has extensive experience in the fitness and wellness industry. Laurie currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at acac Fitness & Wellness Center since December 2022. Prior to this role, Laurie was the Executive Director at The First Tee of the Tri-Valley from June 2022 to December 2022. From June 2011 to May 2021, they held the position of Senior Vice President - Operations at VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa. Laurie spent a significant portion of their career at Leisure Sports, Inc., where they held the role of Senior Vice President from March 1991 to June 2011.

Laurie Smith obtained their B.S. degree in Business/Commercial Recreation from Springfield College between 1975 and 1979. After a few years, they pursued further education and completed their MBA degree with a focus on Management from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business between 1985 and 1987.
