Jonathan Greenspan

Senior Program Associate at Acacia Center for Justice

Jonathan Greenspan is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in refugee and immigration matters. Currently serving as a Senior Program Associate at Acacia Center for Justice since September 2022, Jonathan previously practiced as an attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services. Earlier roles include a position as a Resettlement Expert with UNHCR, where responsibilities included assessing refugee claims and composing resettlement referral forms. Jonathan has also contributed to the Catholic Charities of New York as a Paralegal/Migration Counselor, supporting unaccompanied minors with legal education and eligibility assessments for immigration relief. Additional experience includes serving as a Legal Advisor at Asylum Access Ecuador and tutoring students in various subjects. Jonathan holds a JD from New York University School of Law, a Master's degree in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History from Rutgers University.
