Alana Peck

Alana Peck, Ph.D., currently serves as Senior Program Associate for Nonprofit Leadership and Effectiveness at the Greater New Orleans Foundation, a position held since January 2024. In addition, Alana has been an Adjunct Professor at Xavier University of Louisiana since August 2020 and previously held an adjunct professorship at Upper Iowa University from August 2019 to September 2022. Alana's professional experience includes a Senior Associate role at Kantar from July 2022 to July 2023 and the position of High School Program Director at Breakthrough Collaborative from May 2018 to September 2022. Alana contributed to the educational sector as a Graduate Assistant at Louisiana State University from August 2016 to September 2022 and engaged with students as a Youth Leader/Teacher and Youth Mentor/Resident Assistant at Upward Bound from May 2016 to May 2018. Alana holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Louisiana State University and has earned both a Master of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the same institution and Xavier University of Louisiana, respectively.
