Lisa Yaker

Lisa Yaker is a dedicated education professional currently serving as a School Library Media Specialist at Academia Interamericana de Panamá since February 2024. Previously, Lisa held the positions of Head of English Department and Teacher at Tora Or from February 2023 to February 2024, and served as a Steam Educator and Elementary School Librarian at Magen David Academy from March 2014 to January 2023, where a focus on fostering a love for reading and literacy among young children was central. Additionally, Lisa owned and designed custom photo jewelry through jYOUlry from June 2009 to April 2022, and operated Design Elements of Florida, Inc. from 2002 to 2008. Academic qualifications include a Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration from Framingham State University, a Master of Education in International Teaching from Framingham State University, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design from Florida State University.
