Alex Lopatin

Alex Lopatin has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. In 2019, they joined Academia.edu as an Associate Director of Engineering and Senior Software Engineer. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Khan Academy as a Software Engineer, where they wrote and maintained significant portions of Khan Academy's exercise framework. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Getaround as a Software Developer, where they wrote half of the first version of the Getaround.com webapp.

Alex Lopatin graduated from UC San Diego in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in both Computer Science and Cognitive Science.
