Kara Williams

Kara grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia. She is a 1999 graduate of the University of Virginia. Kara spent 9 years working as an underwriter for a large insurance company. After being introduced to educational student travel she decided to leave the corporate world to pursue a career as a financial officer with Academic Expeditions. Kara and her family reside in central Virginia where they can be found spending time between the beaches on the Eastern Shore and the Blue Ridge Mountains near their home.
