Eric Richtmyer

Eric Richtmyer is an accomplished higher education search consultant with extensive experience in assisting colleges and universities in hiring senior leadership positions, including presidents, vice presidents, and deans. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Academic Search, Inc. since June 2014, Eric has partnered with various institutions, ranging from public universities to private liberal arts colleges and community colleges. Previous roles include a Marketing Intern/Project Manager at the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges and Adjunct Professor of Humanistic Studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Eric holds an MBA in Marketing from The Johns Hopkins University, a Ph.D. in History from the University of Minnesota, and a B.A. in History from The Ohio State University.
