Tom Shandley

Tom Shandley is an experienced higher education professional with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Academic Search, Inc. since November 2017, Tom previously held significant leadership roles at Davidson College, including Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students, and now serves as Dean of Students emeritus. Additionally, Tom provided interim leadership as Dean of Student Affairs at Duke Kunshan University from August 2018 to September 2019. Tom's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from the University of Minnesota, a Master's Degree in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from Bowling Green State University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Simpson College.
