Mariella Bueno

Mariella Bueno is a communications professional with extensive experience in public information and community relations. Currently serving as the Director of Communications & Community Relations at Academica since July 2024, Mariella also holds the position of Public Information Officer for the City of North Las Vegas since March 2023. Previous roles include Director of Communications and Community Relations at Academica from July 2021 to June 2023, School Program Coordinator at Communities In Schools of Nevada, and various positions at Wynn Las Vegas and Wynn Resorts, culminating in a tenure as Call Center Private Branch Exchange from February 2013 to October 2018. Mariella holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and an Associate of Arts in Communications from the College of Southern Nevada.
