Melissa Valladares

Melissa Valladares has over 19 years of experience in education, currently serving as a Science Curriculum Specialist, STEM Liaison, and ESOL Coordinator at Academir Charter Schools Inc. since July 2016. Previously, Melissa worked at Mater Academy East from August 2004 to June 2016, holding the roles of Science Curriculum Specialist, Grade Level Chair, ESOL Coordinator, and Test Chair. Melissa holds a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Barry University, attained in 2014, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Barry University, completed in 2006. Additionally, Melissa earned an Associate of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Teaching and an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Miami Dade College, both completed in 2003.
