Ted Batt

Ted Batt has extensive experience in the art sector, currently serving as the Exhibitions Curator at the Academy of Fine Arts since 2004, where responsibilities include managing art galleries and a pottery studio. Previously, Ted held leadership roles as the Director of Visual Arts at the Academy Center of the Arts in Lynchburg, VA, and as the Director of Cultural Programs at the Medical College of Virginia from 1997 to 2004. Ted's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Art History/Museum Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of New Hampshire.
