Barbara Kohler

Barbara Kohler is an experienced professional in the visual and performing arts sector, currently serving as the Director of Development at the University of Nebraska Foundation since December 2022, focusing on major gifts fundraising for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's arts programs. Previously, Barbara held the role of Gallery Executive and Director of Marketing & PR at Kiechel Fine Art from April 2016 to November 2022, where responsibilities included client relations, art sales, inventory management, and the coordination of appraisals. Additional experience includes a Marketing Specialist position at Threads - Footloose & Fancy and Senior Assistant Director of Marketing at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Barbara earned a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Creighton University and completed courses at Sotheby's Institute of Art and the International Society of Appraisers.
